The ºìÐÓÖ±²¥appLeads Scholarship provides each recipient with $1,000 for one year only. It is available to multiple first-year students each year and includes enrollment in The President's Leadership Class (PLC), a one-hour course during the fall and spring semesters during first-year studies.
This class is a non-credit course and will receive a pass/fail. Through the course curriculum, students will gain insights into their own leadership strengths and group dynamics. The PLC will also engage in:
- Living/learning community activities.
- Volunteering for and planning local community service projects.
- Attending exclusive events at the invitation of the ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app president and class advisors.
- Meeting scholars and distinguished guest speakers visiting ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app.
Those interested in receiving an ºìÐÓÖ±²¥appLeads Scholarship must complete all application steps by the Dec. 15 competitive scholarship deadline.
To be considered for ºìÐÓÖ±²¥appLeads:
- Applicants must be entering freshmen (direct matriculation from high school).*
- Applicants must complete all application steps by the Dec. 15 competitive scholarship deadline.
- Applicants must have a high school GPA of at least 3.25 cumulative.
